Interior plastics become brittle with age which leads to cracking and breaking. SN95 or New Edge A/C vents are no exception and also experience a loss in the ability to direct airflow. Whether the horizontal adjuster has broken or they no longer stay in place, replacing them with a Ford original part is the way to go. Each vent register is built to the factory dimensions with durable plastic material using an injection molding process. Each vent housing has molded retaining clips to snap into your dashboard. The pre-assembled housing allows you to point air in your chosen direction or close off with the dial and flap.
